Not an ordinary RUE post....

You might remember from the current issue of RUE where Kim Johnson and Jo Walker from Desire to inspire were interviewed. It has stuck in my mind since reading because they were asked the question.....

"2010 design trends you'd be happy never to see again"

I have been pondering the question for a few days "What 2010 design trends you'd be happy never to see again?"

My answer- I don't want to see another Hermes Birkin Handbag featured/ styled in a room. Don't get me wrong I love the Hermes Birkin it is a super stylish beautiful crafted handbag - But- I think that look has been done and done and done.

And I now pose this question to you.....

What 2010 design trend would you be happy never to see again?

  3. ohhhh I LOVE this post! hehe - i agree re the trellis...

Dare I say it: but a liiiiiittle over the morrocon pouffs that are everywhere (maybe it's just because I'm jealous I didn't get one when I first started spotting them and now they're everywhere I feel I missed the boat/too common?!)

  4. Karate Chopped cushions.....we never agreed it was right the 1st time around, who decided it would be right this time.
Cape cod/Hamptons homes with no added personal style. I get the style but add your own personality aswell. Union Jacks......anything, don't ask me why....I just don't like them.
I hope I haven't offended anyone its my own personal opinion.
