Once Daily Chic {Home Tour}

I met the gorgeous Sally of Once Daily Chic when she stopped by Black Velvet Chair and realised that our husbands ride bikes (of the pedal variety) together. Isn’t it just insane how small this world is, and to top it off we both work in very similar fields!

Sally has only ever shared small snippets of her home on her blog, never a full “Home Tour” I have been waiting patiently to see what the Once Daily Chic apartment looked like! I knew it would be great and I wasn’t disappointed when Sally and Ben's St Ives Apartment was featured in the latest issue of Real Living Magazine. The story was very real and relatable just like the couple themselves!

I am in love with the crosses on a wall in the bedroom, they look great and I am sure hold great memories of places the couple have visited.

Sally runs “Sally Rhys-Jones Interior Architecture” and can Design and Manage Council submissions, Kitchens, Bathrooms, Lighting, Joinery an apartment or a Home! Feel free to pop over to her page on Facebook and give it a “Like” The recent bathroom and Kitchen transformations have me itching for a renovation myself! Venetian Glass Mirror and "Penny Tiles" in a bathroom, Fabulous!.

I love lamp Flanking

Yah Yah, Catchy title but not as strange as it would seam. Sooooo I might have a unhealthy affiliation with the subtleness of lamp lighting and each room in our home has at least two of them (Everybody looks better in under 40 Lux lighting).

I am constantly looking for new Lamps, at the moment I have been fascinated with the idea of Flanking either side of our lounge with task lighting.

Cape Cod Malibu Cottage {Inspired}

If I could describe my favorite style this would be it! Cape Cod meets Malibu Beach house.

I think it is great that small spaces like cottages needn't lack in style or storage, my favorite area is this little kitchen nook it features so many storage options. Above the windows, Above the bench and I am sure inside that comfy looking bench. Sunday mornings with a coffee and the paper anyone?

Sarah Richardson’s Summer House {Home Tour}

I am often envious of the homes crafted by interior designers, the envy leads to curiosity of how interior designers live & what their spaces look like. I wondered if Interior designers homes would be the old tale of "The cobbler's children go unshod" or similarly visiting our cousin last week whom owns a vinyl flooring company only to find he has been too busy to work on his own kitchen vinyl.

One of my (& mums) favorite Interior designers is Sarah Richardson, do you get stuck watching her show “Sarahs house and Sarah 101” for hours and hours like I do? budget friendly DIY anyone?.  I was Thrilled to find that HGTV has featured Sarah’s summer house on their website, just what I need to get me in the mood for summer & our mini break to QLD next week.

Great mix of colour, I want it all!
