Giuliana & Bill Rancic's New Home {Inspired}

I am a massive dorky fan of Giuliana & Bill Rancic's reality show, the couple recently welcomed little baby Duke into their family, his little nursery is fantastic, I love the nautical undertones and subdued colours, not to mention the convex mirror and Octopus print (From her first LA apartment)

I love the large mirror hanging on the wall in this family room, and the perfect mix of cushion patterns.

Cape Cod Malibu Cottage {Inspired}

If I could describe my favorite style this would be it! Cape Cod meets Malibu Beach house.

I think it is great that small spaces like cottages needn't lack in style or storage, my favorite area is this little kitchen nook it features so many storage options. Above the windows, Above the bench and I am sure inside that comfy looking bench. Sunday mornings with a coffee and the paper anyone?

Home Tour - Megan Mortons Lane Cove home

Megan Mortons Lane Cove home was featured in the Real Estate Gossip section of Sundays Herald. Megan is a prominent Sydney Stylist, and after a weekend of enjoying ourselves around our North Shore abode I profoundly agree with Megan's sentiment "until you know (about the north) . . .". here.

Over the weekend we had some guests staying with us, we were so happy the fabulous weather Put on a show! activities included lunch at The Public dining room at Balmoral, a ferry ride to The Opera House to catch a show on Saturday night and Sunday spent enjoying the sunshine doing the Clontarf to Manly walk I have to agree with Megan's Statement (Although I am a little biased as I know no other).

So if its good, why leave?

It has been the loveliest place to have a family. This suburb has sourdough, proper single origin coffee, top schools and all the other rah rah that people like. My older kids are now teens and I didn’t want to be one of those people who starts to giveaway the trampoline and the slip’n'slide when the ‘kids’ are heading into their twenties!  This way a new family can enjoy all it’s spoils.  Oh sweet house, I have loved you.  For what you are now, but more so for what you will go onto be.

My Childhood bedroom- Redecorated

My mum has been very busy redecorating my childhood bedroom. In fact I think the hardest part was getting me to cull boxes and boxes of rubbish, sort all of the collected wedding decorations & throw out 32 pairs of shoes.

The whole project was completed with a bit or furniture re-shuffling, a new bed, DIY navy blue headboard, a new quilt & some white Ikea frames. She collected all of the gold mirrors from the Salvation army/ goodwill.

I quickly snapped these pictures on a visit last weekend.

Feel free to say "Hi" to "Big white ted" and "Yellow Ted"......what an imaginative young child I was.
