{Bookends GO Black Glossy!}

These Neigh Neigh bookends I scored for $4 from a thrift store received some Strokes High Gloss White Knight Paints {in Glossy Black of course}.

Seriously the best paint for a High Gloss finish! 

Over the weekend we ate out with friends and family A LOT, whilst driving back from dinner one night we found this beauty on the side of the road. The Mr quickly hoisted it into the back of our car {one of the many advantages of driving a 4WD}.

PS: My niece got creative and decorated this birthday present for me {a creative little DIY'er in the making}!  The gift was a beautiful cushion that said LOVE awww.
