Who stole the cookies from the cookie jar?

I found this top to a clock whilst thrifting recently  for $2, the sales person asked what I would do with it - I was not quite sure at the time. Once I got it home I decided to pair it with a blue and white plate (thanks mum) and a stack crumb of choc chip cookies..



It's previous home would have looked something like this:

I was inspired by the domed cake stands that have become quite popular.

    I can't tell you how much I love this idea! The blue and white plate is great along with the sweet little milk glass pot behind it! :)

    Funny... After reading your post I was at a country market on Sunday and saw someone selling the top of a clock just like your purchase... They wanted $10 !
