My thoughts and prayers go out to the people of Christchurch and all the family's who have been affected by the deadly earthquake that hit the beautiful New Zealand city on 22.2.11.
It was today exactly one year ago that the Mr & I started our New Zealand honeymoon holiday in Christchurch, we have so many fond memories of the city & hope to return as soon as we can.
You can see the dome in the picture above? That is the Regent theatre where we watched a movie.

Just so devastating...and scary..what is happening to our wonderful world...so much tragedy natural disasters and violence..all just so very sad.
ReplyDeleteWe also honeymooned in NZ. We started in Queenstown and finished in Christchurch.
ReplyDeleteIT was so sad watching it on the telle last night and seeing some of the places we went to are now ruined.
My work has an office in Christchurch and the staff there say it was horrible. They evacuated and just stood on the streets watching buildings falling down around them.
Horrible.
